Our story

Traditional Austrian baking, handed down through three generations.

Following the legacy of the third-generation Austrian family of bakers who founded the bakery in 1983, we bake over 80 varieties of bread using techniques handed down from one generation to the next.

Our breads and rolls are baked fresh in our European hearth oven, using quality ingredients and the minimum of preservatives. That is why Kelowna's top chefs choose our breads for their restaurants, delicatessens and diners.

Over 80 varieties baked fresh in our European hearth oven. Crusty artisan loaves, soft rolls, rye, sourdough and the daily breads Kelowna has trusted for over forty years.

Sweets & Pastries

Old-world pastries, cakes and treats made the Austrian way, including the famous Kelownut. Special occasion? Big or small, we do custom orders, and we deliver them too.

Our gluten-free breads and pastries are legendary. Using our own specially formulated mix, they are incomparable, baked with the same care as everything else we make.

Open weekday mornings and through lunch, our Finns Road bistro serves classic breakfasts and a fresh lunch menu, all built on the same artisan rolls and breads we are known for.
